Founded in 1976 by Socorro “Mama Yuca” Herrera, Yuca’s Tacos is a beloved Los Angeles staple known for its authentic Yucatecan-inspired tacos, burritos, and cochinita pibil. Still family-owned and rooted in its original Los Feliz “Hut,” Yuca’s has earned citywide acclaim—including the James Beard “America’s Classics” award—while continuing to serve the community with the same warmth, tradition, and handmade flavors that made it famous.
